Animation and computer games are especially big businesses in Asia, as can be seen by the incredible number of visitors who flock to the Ani-com and Games fair every year. The latest software, toys and comics are on display, but the biggest attention-getters are always the “cosplay” enthusiasts who dress up as anime characters. The fair takes place from July 31 to August 4, 10am-9pm (closes at 8pm on the last day) at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
