The great tragic ballet Giselle tells of an innocent girl who falls in love with a handsome villager, only to find out he has deceived her – he is actually a count who is already engaged. Giselle dies from the shock, and the subsequent events are filled with ghosts, romance and, most importantly, incredible dancing. The Hong Kong Ballet production will be staged from November 28 to 30 at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts at 8pm, with additional 3pm shows on November 29 and 30.
