One Day
![]() |
| With only one day to spend in Asia's World City, you can thank your lucky stars that Hong Kong is compact. Start off the day with a ride up to The Peak on The Peak Tram for perspective and orientation. For lunch, try your hand at dim sum, a Cantonese specialty, at a local restaurant. Then take the Star Ferry from the Central ferry piers on Hong Kong Island over to Tsim Sha Tsui in Kowloon. Wander around the various markets of Jordan and Mong Kok, such as the Ladies' Market, the Flower Market, the Goldfish Market and the Temple Street Night Market, for a real taste of daily life. Afterwards, return to Tsim Sha Tsui to catch the nightly light show 'A Symphony of Lights' at 8pm from the Avenue of Stars, a festive harbour side walkway featuring hometown heroes in the likes of Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee. End the evening with a Chinese meal to your liking; Tsim Sha Tsui is full of every Chinese cuisine, from spicy Sichuan to Peking. |
