Sightseeing - Jumbo Kingdom

Established in 1976, Jumbo Kingdom is the largest floating restaurant in the world, decorated in the style of an ancient Chinese imperial palace. It is located in the Aberdeen Harbour, which forms a typhoon shelter that is home to a floating village of junks, fishing boats, seafood restaurants and what remains of Hong Kong's "boat people". After a multi-million dollar revamp, the likes of international dignitaries and celebrities have come to try Jumbo Kingdom's famed seafood and open-deck cafe. The ornate vessel is enormous, able to accommodate up to 2,300 guests, and brightly lit, standing out in the harbour among the usual fishing boats.
