Sightseeing - The Peak Tram and The Peak Tower

Together The Peak Tram and The Peak Tower are the city's most popular tourist attractions. Dating back to 1888, The Peak Tram is a steep funicular railway that allows passengers to enjoy panoramic views of Hong Kong. The tram has long been a symbol of Hong Kong and now carries more than four million passengers up to The Peak every year. At the top, The Peak Tower is an attraction in itself, with fun shopping, dining, entertainment and a 360-degree panorama at the top of the city. There are a number of lookout points, including the Peak Circle Walk and the Lugard Road Lookout.

The Peak Tram departs every 10-15 minutes from the Peak Tram Station, Garden Road, Central. One-way tickets: $22 adults, $8 child; return: $33, $15. Enquiries: 2522 0922
