Hong Kong Island Tour

If you are a first-time visitor or have limited time, you will want to get to the business end of Hong Kong, namely a tour of Hong Kong Island. This tour takes in The Peak, giving you unrivalled views over Victoria Harbour. After that you'll be whisked down to Aberdeen taking in the views of Repulse and Deepwater Bays on the way. Around Hong Kong's waters you'll find bubble gum-pink dolphins, one of the territory's indigenous marine mammals and part of the delicate ecosystem. Take a half-day tour and cruise around Lantau Island. Board a coach in Central (8.30am) or Tsim Sha Tsui (9am). Return to town around 1pm. Trip includes tea, coffee and snacks on board. Starting with a sunset cruise to Lamma Island, you'll have a chance to visit a traditional fishing village and enjoy a delicious dinner on the waterfront. On return to Hong Kong Island, you'll cruise along the harbour where you can take in the spectacular A Symphony of Lights. You will then ascend Victoria Peak for a birdseye view of Hong Kong by night. The night finishes with a stop off at Hong Kong's trendiest nightlife area, Lan Kwai Fong. Hong Kong isn't only about the Island - just across the harbour and past Kowloon is a world of traditional culture. This tour takes in some of the highlights of the New Territories including Fanling Walled Village where you can see a traditional Chinese village including walls and ancestral hall as well as Yuen Yuen Institute, a monastery dedicated to all three major local religions: Buddhism, Taoism, and Confucianism. Kowloon Behind the Scenes Tour

The Kowloon Behind the Scenes Tour ushers visitors away from the normal tourist routes in Kowloon to see the real face of Hong Kong. Shop at three very different local markets, including Shanghai Street selling ceremonial items and traditional wedding gowns and the Jade Market, after a lesson on pearl shopping.
